JoeStoneGuitars

by Peter Thome

Altdorf/Berlin/NYC

With the onset of his retirement, master carpenter Peter Thome of Altdorf, a small village in the Black Forest of Germany, began building electric guitars. 10 years later, now at 75, you could call his creations master instruments as boutique-unique as they may come. After having built his own house, making guitar bodies and necks from selected woods became this wise man's latest passion, who even frets them himself and installs the most incredible hardware and pick-ups by Harry Häussel.
